Ignite on Wheels x Jelly Ellington’s: The Somebody to Love Music Video

Updated: May 1

We’re excited to share that Ignite On Wheels was recently featured in Jelly Ellington’s newest music video, Somebody to Love, a single off his latest album Glow. This collaboration was all about movement meeting music—and it was filmed right here in Austin, at the Austin Roller Rink.

About Jelly Ellington & the Glow Album

Jelly Ellington is an Austin-based guitarist and singer-songwriter whose blues-rock sound has earned him a loyal following in the local music scene and beyond. His new album Glow, released on April 18, 2025, marks his third full-length project and blends elements of rock, disco, R&B, and folk.

Glow was written during a period of personal transformation for Ellington, and you can hear that growth throughout the album. The track Somebody to Love brings a more upbeat, hopeful energy—and the music video reflects that.

How Ignite On Wheels Got Involved

We were brought on to bring a physical energy to Somebody to Love through roller skating, and our skaters got to do what they do best—move with intention and style. From downtown sidewalks to glowing studio sets, the skaters helped tell a visual story that matches the rhythm and soul of the song. It's not often roller skaters get the opportunity to showcase their skills on a music video, especially the amount we did in this one. It made for a pretty fun day on set.

The Album Release at Antone’s

To top it all off, Ellington hosted an album release party at Antone’s on April 23, 2025. Known as one of Austin’s legendary venues, Antone’s was the perfect backdrop for the live debut of songs from Glow, including Somebody to Love. The energy was electric, and we’re proud to have been part of this moment.
